In Module One, we began by defining what compersion is. In Module Two, we identify what obstacles to compersion may be getting in the way.
Jealousy is often framed as the only obstacle to compersion but that just isn't true. There are many obstacles to compersion and, the better skilled you are at identifying what your unique obstacles to compersion are, the better equipped you will become at finding solutions to remove those obstacles, thus creating the most optimal environment possible for compersion to flourish.
In Module Two, you will learn the three types of obstacles to compersion, be given examples of each type, and receive exercises to help you identify what specific obstacles are in your pathway to compersion through reflection prompts, somatic awareness and practice, and obstacle mapping exercises. All without judgement for the obstacles present and with a focus on curiosity and compassion for them.
By the end of Module Two, you will have:
A broader understanding of obstacles to compersion that highlights more than just "jealousy".
Exercises designed to help you develop the skills to identify your specific obstacles to compersion.
Permission to meet your obstacles with curiosity and compassion and to address those obstacles from an empowered place.
This module continues the work from Module One, diving deeper into your relationship with compersion and aiding you in clearing your pathway to cultivating it.
